NeoLoft Sleeping Pad

It might not look like it, but make no mistake, NeoLoft is a true backpacking sleep mat. From the inside out, every part of NeoLoft comes together to deliver sublime comfort while being incredibly lightweight and packable. The 3D construction raises the mat to 4.6 inches (11.7 cm) thick, making NeoLoft a side sleeper's dream. Vertical sidewalls attach the top and bottom fabric, eliminating the tapered edges of non-3D pads. This increases the sleep surface by 20% and provides excellent stability – you'll never feel like you're falling off while adjusting to get comfortable.

On the outside, NeoLoft's surface is made from a plush stretch knit fabric (NeoLoft is the first-ever air mattress made with stretch knit). Stretch knit is a base-layer-like fabric with multi-directional elasticity and is MUCH softer to the touch than the nylon stock typically used to make backpacking pads. Its stretch properties enhance NeoLoft's contour support and help minimize pressure points by locally conforming to your body shape. Inside is the ContourCore Matrix™ – the epicenter of NeoLoft's backcountry-ready specifications. It effectively insulates by minimizing convective heat loss with two stacked rows of triangular chambers, while ThermaCapture™ reflects body heat back to you, providing an R-value of 4.7 for all seasons. Along the sides, we've built large chambers that rise to form side rails when the pad is inflated. These give your body a tactile sense of the pad's edge and cradle you towards its center to prevent roll-offs.

We equipped NeoLoft with our high-volume TwinLock valve system™. The two-valve system quickly inflates NeoLoft with a dedicated "In" valve with one-way airflow and quickly dumps air with a dedicated "Out" valve. Together with a high-volume, seam-sealed pump sack, NeoLoft inflates and packs down quickly and efficiently.
