The Fällkniven A1 is a robust survival knife developed for very demanding use in tough environments. This model has long been used by, among others, the Swedish Armed Forces and is designed to function reliably in everything from subarctic cold to warm and humid conditions. The combination of technical design, ergonomics, and durability makes the A1 a versatile knife for outdoor life, survival, and professional use.

The blade is made of laminated VG7 steel (VGwolf), a corrosion-resistant special steel that, through an advanced hardening process, provides very high strength and good edge retention. The convex grind contributes to both durability and effective cutting ability for everything from finer work to heavier tasks such as chopping.

The knife features an ergonomic handle made of Kraton, providing a secure and comfortable grip even in wet or cold conditions. The broad, full tang extends almost through the entire handle, making the construction very strong and allowing for striking the back of the knife without risking damage.

The A1 comes with a Zytel sheath. The Zytel sheath features a two-way locking mechanism that provides safe and easy one-handed operation.
